EXAMS AND CONSULTATIONS

Our doctors prefer to perform their "nose to tail" examinations on our patients in the exam room with our clients present.  However, there are always those exceptions.  This is a great time for the doctors and the clients to exchange pertinent information and to ask questions.  If our doctors have never met your pet, they will take the time to become their friend.  We believe a long- lasting doctor-client-pet relationship starts in the exam room.  It is the time and place to build a solid foundation for years to come.

We offer "full" appointments.  Your pet will be receiving an examination and consultation with one of our doctors.  New patients and patients with health issues must schedule for a full appointment.  We also offer "tech time" appointments.  These are quick "in and out" appointments with our registered technicians.  Tech time appointments must be approved by our doctors.  These appointments are for healthy pets only.  They cover things such as toenail trims, expressing anal glands, rechecks, and boosters for vaccines.  Your pet will not see a doctor during a tech time appointment.

Consultations are an important part of communication between our doctors and our clients. The doctors at Creature Comforts Veterinary Center value our clients' input during a consultation.  It is important to discuss all aspects of a patient's health; physical, mental, and emotional.  Our doctors will gather information and formulate the best plan for each individual patient and client.
