Everyone knows your pets are an important part of your family. In fact, you refer to them as your 4-legged children. So why not get a customized pet portrait of that one-of-a-kind, can-never-be-replaced pet? With proper care, your pet's portrait will last for many years to come.
The process is as easy as 1-2-3.
1- We begin with a conversation, either by e-mail or phone. This will give me the inside-track to the personality of your pet and what you envision with your pet's portrait.
2- I will need a photo. The photo needs to be at least 4" x 6". It must be clear and show the true colors of your pet. The lighting is so important!
3- I work from the photo you have provided. The expression, the colors, the pose will be as exact to what you have provided as possible. You can request a specific background color for head portraits. If the painting is of the entire body, you can request a specific background. (refer to the painting of the Boston Terrier. I added the Chicago Cubs blanket).
The smallest canvas size for a pet portrait is 8 x 10. I want to provide as much detail as possible.
1- I will work with you from the beginning to the end to make sure I create the painting you want!
2- All custom portraits require a nonrefundable payment of half of the total cost at the time of ordering. The remainder of the balance will be due at time of completion.
3- Depending on the size, a custom portrait can take up to 4 weeks to complete. Please keep this in mind if you are ordering as a gift for someone.
Thank you for helping a great cause.
