Our Artist

My name is Deb Jackson Waites. I am a local artist. I love my furry 4-legged rescued family members and I am very passionate about making a difference. A couple of years ago a Great Dane Rescue approached me, asking if I would donate a painting to their organization to be auctioned off at a fundraiser. I, of course, said 'yes' and it was a huge success! I have been helping rescues ever since. 

Creature Comforts Veterinary Center has been gracious enough to provide a showcase for some of my work. A 'gallery wall' has been created at Creature Comforts. It is in the reception area. Having my artwork displayed at Creature Comforts makes it possible for me to continually raise monies for 4 local rescues: Fairfield County Dog Shelter, Hocking County Dog Shelter, Perry County Humane Society, and Ohio Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. There will be pieces available I have already created and are ready for immediate purchase. I also offer custom work! If you see something already completed that you like, but want it to look more like your pet, your dog or cat's breed and markings, I can do that for you. Or maybe a custom portrait of your pet is what you are looking for.

50% of each sale will be donated to rescue efforts through the rescues mentioned above. Shipping is available. However, it is a separate fee and is not associated with the 50% donation for the rescues. For complete details about shipping, please ask. 

Currently, I accept payments by check (made out to Debra Waites), cash, or through PayPal at [email protected]. Soon, I will be offering credit card payments through Square. As soon as Square is up and running, I will update my payment information. Please contact me for further information.
